poor man's r turbo or ls/vtec turbo?
The only reason to do an LSVTEC is to save money. If you take into account the extra oil lines, etc., there isn't a huge difference in price. I'm going to get rid of my B16 shortblock for a B18C, and use an LS crank. B18c's also have a girdle, and LS engines don't, although I'm not sure how much this helps reliability.

I love the gsr rotating assembly for turbo motors. Great piston speed and dwell time. I think the geometry is better for forced induction than the LS.

Green made 802 WHP on gas with an LS/VTEC.
Good enough for me.
