Default Springs/shocks

I took my car to the friends shop and they did a check up on it....my front right axel was broken and only way this coulda happen was from my shocks or springs. I bought my car off hand and it was already dropped. I have no idea how much its dropped, the guy that dropped it didnt even use big name springs, i have no idea what kind of springs are on my car. I want to buy some H/R Springs but i cant find em for an 02lx (2dr). I dont want to drop it too much cause im guessing its already dropped 2" or 1.75." I found some h/r springs dropped 1.75 for 220bux but I dont want to buy that, it'll be the asme thing as it is now. Where can I find them dropp'd 1.50 max?

Try Eibach.

Any decrease in ride height places stress on axles, whether they are OEM axles or not. They are manufactured for stock height of the vehicle.

Whichever drop you go for, you will risk the chance of tearing CV boots.

It all depends on your luck. My Accord went 3 years on 2" drop with Eibach Sportlines and the CV boots barely went a few months ago.

My Civic was dropped about 3" on Omni Coilovers and CV boots lasted 1 month.

You never know what pick of the litter you have.

1.25 wont do damage. I have h&r sports on my 93 they are 1.75F and 1.5R. Never had a problem with them for two years.
