195-55-15 vs. 195-50-15
just a quick question on these tire sizes. I see that the 195-50-15 are cheaper than 195-55-15, is there any downside running the 195-50-15 beside car height being lower than before? should I just stick with the 195-55-15?
thanks

Yes. Your speedometer and odometer will both read 3.3 percent higher than actual.

forgot the 50 will have a slight cornering advantage, but a slight acceleration disadvantage

That's because you are usually choosing between a WIDER tire and a lower aspect ratio vs a narrower tire with a higher aspect ratio (e.g. 205/50-15 vs 195/55-15).
