i would just plug it up and keep o2 on downpipe...sitting that close to the turbo might have some heat soak problems

what is heatsoaking?
And would kepping my o2 sensor on my downpipe cause a bad reading for my AFR gauge, or a "TO LATE READING" my engine is blown

The DSM's don't seem to have problems with the O2 there, and neither does my car. It's right after the turbo in the DP.
