I'm looking at purchasing a set of 215/50/15s for my stock 94-95 gsr rims. Tirerack emailed me to ask if i'm sure they will fot. I'm pretty sure it will work bet i wanted a definate answer. Do you think it'll fit. THey are considerably cheaper that 205/50/15s and i'll be switching to 16s this summer so i really dont care for much except price.

 

I mean you are able to mount them but why? There will most likely look stupid with a 7.5" wide tire on a rim thats only 6" wide. If all you care about is price just go and find the cheapest 205/50. I am sure they are cheaper then the cheapest 215/50.

 

actually the cheapest 205/50 in 30 more than the cheapest 215/50. i may just go back to 195/55s for now.

apparently the oil shortage has driven up the price of tires too.

i'm stupid. I was looking only at ultra high performance summer tires and didnt realise it. I order a set of 215/50/15 kuhmo 712s. Problem solved. I feel like a retard
