Default only 2 valve reliefs on pistons in cx block?

Was looking swap the head out on my cx motor in my 92 civic. But Its only an eight valve motor. Was wondering if there were only 2 valve reliefs per piston like on a crx hf. Thanks.

Only the early 92 models came with the "two relief" pistons. Every single B8 I've ever seen disassembled has had the "four relief" pistons.

I dont see why they would have put 4 valve reliefs in this block, I guess ill just have to take the head off and find out. If anyone knows for sure though it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I wish i remembered what the pistons looked like when we ripped the motor apart for a new head gasket and rings. Dummy me. Sorry, man. I don't understand why any 92-95 cx wuld have 4 relief pistons. That's wierd.

To save money, they are already made for the DX so whats the point of wasting money on a manufacturing a completely different piston for your shittiest model when you don't need to.
