foglights that actually help
i searched but didnt find anything helpful.
where can i find some pretty bright foglights. ones that make a difference when i turn them on. some you see look pretty bright but they dont actually light up the road that much.
so if you guys could point me in the direction of companys or specific models that would help alot.

WHat car do you have?
Personally if you want fogs that work, get yellow. Yellow is the best color for cutting through fog. Actually red is but since it's not legal....
Anyways, according to physics, blue light is exponentially more likely to dissapate in our atmosphere than red. This is why the sky is blue. So you want anything closer to Red to go through fog/rain etc (remembering ROYGBV). I'd stick to less than 3800k for foglights, and try for yellow.

Yes, if I could recommend a retrofit onto your car, the IS300 yellow fogs are the best you could have
I would have said it myself but some people dont want all the fuss of a retrofit

My USDM foggies with painted lenses for a TON for me. Their beam area is the same, if not larger than the stock headlights, so I would prefer to run them instead of headlights.

I would personally get some JDM fogs or IS300s and have someone do a retrofit (someone on HT will do it for you, i forget his sn but I remember the thread) or buy some OEM style fogs on ebay and get some transparent vinyl film, i think its called luminex or something, there was another thread on this, that stuff is thick and will protect your fogs from rocks as well as tint the beam yellow...

Projectors like this. BTW this is the depo version.

its pointless to do HID retrofits in foglights.
Foglights are basically back up lights for your headlights in foul weather. HID does not perform as well as a standard halogen foglight does in poor weather. Yellow is easier for the eyes to adjust to on the road and increase visibility
