Yikes. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Frams. They're junk.

p.s. the Honda filters are also made by Fram!

I could, or you could learn to search and educate yourself.

Frams are junk because they use cardboard endcaps and inferior internal components. The X2 is their only filter worth buying. I've seen too many failed Frams to ever use or recommend one.

Napa Gold (same as WIX) are very good, Purolator Premium Plus are good, Mobil 1 are very good, K&N are very good.

Just stay away from Fram and Honda (all but the S2000 filter are made by Fram).

Buy them anywhere. You'll easily find any or all of these at your local stores.

I have had nothing but good luck with Purolator filters on every vehicle I have owned.

I wonder how my 94 Integra LS lasted 195,000 using the OEM honda filters then? Hmmmm. Car is currently owned by someone else so the mileage is still increasing.

I use OEM honda from the dealer. I don't think Honda would allow a low quality filter to be put on the car. How many problems have you heard of from a Honda/Acura dealer about cars having faulty oil filters? How often do you hear of a Honda motor blowing up due to lack of filtered oil?

I wonder when Honda switched to Fram/Tennex for their filter production? Hmmmm. Search next time and educate yourself.

I get my Honda PCX filters at Heeltoe

Anyway, I think these are the best.

Everyone I talked to (that I actually give credit to for knowing any better) says Hamps are like JDM Frams.

Fram is not terrible, but they make most of the newer honda filters anyway...or at least they did for a while.

That small filter that everyone says is good is recommended for use on EVERY HONDA EXCEPT the S2000....When that tiny PLM filter was released, everyone thought they were better. Speculation dictated is was because they raised the oil pressure or something. I have yet to see this proven.....the only reason I can think they might raise oil pressure is because they are not filtering as good...so you tell me what is better. Filtering out dirt or raising the already adquite oil pressure?

The PCX filter was released when the PLM became the standard filter for all Hondas. The reason Honda released a new PCX filter is because they did not want the inferior PLM going on the high revving high performance S2000 engine! SO.....Honda says the PCX is the bomb. I am with them. $8 each.

Been using K & N filter and it does its job.

Napa filter has good reviews all over internet and i might try it on next oil change.

I've sold a bunch of Amsoil filters to a former Honda Challenge ITR before. He must have liked them as he wnet through a case from me during his season.
