Here in WA state several dealers I've talked to said they've suddenly been seeing quite a few bad injectors on 4cyl 6th gens in the past 2 weeks or so. Mileage does not seem to matter which seems to point towards a fuel quality problem rather than a manufacturing problem. One common factor appears to be the use of cheap gas. for example Arco, costco, or Walmart. If you or anyone you know have had injector problems please post when and what type (brand) gas you use.

 

If there's a problem with gasoline, remember that refineries are regional. Walmart gas in Seattle isn't coming from the same refinery as Walmart in FLA.

So people posting about this should say where they're located.
