burning radio?! =vent=
I bought a radio off ebay last week. first mistake. dude claimed it was new, used like 6 months then reboxed. I install it no problem. the radio is an alpine 7998, btw. it cycles through all the functions fine. I put a cd in it, and BAM! white flames start shooting out of the top of it. Has anyone ever seen such a thing?! i was so pissed, now the dude claims he wont refund any of my money because he "doesnt want to be out of $400 and a new radio" neither do I!!! WTF??!!!!

Sorry, but you do get what you pay for, but from eBay and other online places, you sometimes don't even get that

Check out the auction terms. If it was sold "as-is," then too bad. Otherwise, you can contact ebay or paypal and whine about it. They MIGHT do something.
