Default B16a2 Pistons in a B18c1 with a 20thou head skim

my B18c4 went boom last weekend, I bought a new engine and the head was bowed 15thou across 2&3 so it's been skimmed 20thou to take care of that.

However I'm contemplating fitting some b16a2 0.25 oversized pistons to bump the compression a bit (well to about 12.4:1 with the skim Twisted Evil )

Taking into account the BC3+ cams I'm running, not as much lift as Jun3's or SK2 Stg2's would I encounter valve piston interface moments?

I know people have dropped EK9 pistons into B18c motors with big lift cams like Toda B's, Jun3's etc

Any help would be great

i called skunk2 and according to skunk2 i couldnt run their stage 3's cams in my b18c+ctr's+b16 head.....said not enough piston to valve clearance....so i got the stage 2's instead.....but would also like to know the answer to this question

you will be safe. ive done a few motors using this same set up and we used sk2s3
with no problems. just make sure you degree the cam in properly!

Do you mean that reply to me, I sure hope so

I spoke to Steve @ Omni Power about my engien and he suggested the B16a2 pistons to give more clearance over the stock (JDM Spec) B18c4 pistons
