Well i finally got chosen, my waiting inline for 4 years and i got jacked..... my 3rd and the one that saw the most blood and sweat of me..... i made sure i found the perfect shell to work with... 89 si with 165k miles.... interior was perfect not one scratch/fade/crack/rip in the interior at all It was almost like it was off the show room floor new....... and i put a PERFECT i mean perfect JDM front end on it.... only to enjoy it for a whole 2weeks..... i got jacked for my jdm front end and now they cant even find my shell, i dont care i just want it back, long as the interior is still there i will be happy..... but for now im dropping out of the honda scene..... while i still work on hondas everyday and help every person that has one and hook them up like i always do..... i will no longer own a honda till i have a garage to park it in...... sorry guys but the thief bug in socali is getting huge..... first my friends LS, then my neighbors GSR, my good friends turbo eg, some hot chick's SI, my friend from school his SI, a GSR in my complex that came from irvine then my EF, and now my friends CRX got stolen all within a month...... i cant hang with losing something such as this cuz its my only mode of transportion. I hope the theif bug isnt as bad outside of cali or hope it will never hit you guys like it did here in corona/riverside..... 389 car theifs and 264 of them honda/acuras stolen in one month is unheard of no more hondas for a while for me

you're like the 4th person in 2 weeks that i see post alot to get jacked.
Even when you have a garage, you won't be able to take it anywhere. Gotta design a security system that won't let your car be taken. Install line locks on the brakes so they can't even tow your baby.

Sorry to hear about your car, when I lived in SD it was common to wake up and see at least one car on blocks with no rims at least once a week.

 

Too bad that all of the Honda-thieves won't just die. I would actually pay taxes every year if our government would exterminate car thieves for good.

dude i know how you feel i had my integra stolen from me. now im scared cuz i picekd up an ef im scared of that **** getting jacked.

dude for the past month these ***** have been trying to take my car they have got into it 3 times and last sunday the **** broke my window trying to peel it but what can u do if they want it bad enough they will take it. u can't watch the car 24/7 all u can do is hope u have diconnected enough **** so the ***** can't get it started.... just my 2

i know this wont make you feel better but my hatch was stolen and it was similar to your description minus the jdm front end. If you had perfect interior they were after it as well. I had seats with no tears and door panels without seatbelt bite marks and they not only took that but the dent free doors they were attached to. Yeah, they also took my USDM front body work so go figure. Im sorry to hear about your car but be prepared for the worst. I always thought it would happen to me...just not on this car.
