hey, i recently bought a white 1993 civic hatchback and the only problem i have with the car are the side moldings. im thinking about ripping off the side moldings and putting white tape over the holes until i have enough money to shave the holes during the summer. i want to know how many clips are holding the side moldings because if it is too many it might not have a clean look with the tape over the holes. what are your opinions on this?? i have seen people tape over spoiler holes and i believe that it is not that noticeable, so i want to do the same with my side moldings since they are making the car look ugly.

Yeah it would look like your car was caught in crossfire from a drive-by. I think there are at least 10 on each side. Can't remember from when I replaced mine because the black was looking ill.

 

what do you think about temporarily covering the holes with white tape?? bad idea or what?

 

Just leave em on till you have some money to fill the holes. Thats what i would do, but if yuo really want to not have sidemoldings just throw some tape over em and see how it looks, if you dont like it take it off and throw em back on. Or just roll with the bullet holes on your ****.
