need help painting interior side panels

Default need help painting interior side panels

ok so the previous owner of my car painted the rear interior panels white and i want to paint them black again...would i have to sand,primer,paint then clearcoat? i want it to look clean and shiny, not dull. what are some products you guys recommend? anyone who has experience with this please tell me the steps you took to do this and the products you used.

there is interior paint that has texture. or you can just scuff them with a scotch brite pad and use regular paint.

would the paint chip if it isnt sanded or primered down first?

that is why you scuff it. if you sand it you will have to go smooth then it won't be textured anymore. (if your interior is textured).
