Default no fan after shut-off

i've been hearing about the prelude's fan running after the car is shut off to help cool the engine faster, and so decided to check it out for myself.

seems to me that mine doesn't come on. immediately after returning from somewhere, if i turn the car off, no fan. if i let it sit until the fan DOES come on, then cut the car off, the fan dies, too.

is something wrong, or was the fan thing a post-93 addition? the car's not overheating or anything, i'm just wondering!

The fan comes on if your engine is overheated when you turn it off. Idle the car until the engine heats up to one bar more than the middle, then turn the car off. Radiator fan should stay on.
