A few weeks ago I installed an ACT flywheel and Clutch Specialties clutch. Now when I let out the clutch in first gear I hear a squeaking noise. What could it be? Clutch/flywheel/throwout bearing/pilot bearing are all new.

 

I have a similiar prob in my new swap(K20a in del sol) I am running an act also my friend told me it is a harmonic pich and is nothing to really to worry about and if you have a little play in your pedal you could adjust the pedal to rid the play and it might rid you of the sqeaking noise. Also mine comes and goes and hasn't really come back since I drove from Fl to Indiana and back try that might work that is the only small help I can give.

 

Yeah, it's weird. I just found another post where some guy had the same problem as me, but he left it alone because there was no apparent damage being done.

And I only hear the noise going into first because that's the only time I have to slip the clutch. But then again, I don't hear it going into reverse...

 

im not sure, maybe its the shift fork for the thought bearing, u know what im talking about, clutch fork thing. thats out side of the bell housing, its were u bleed your clutch from.
im not sure though

 

But the noise only arose after the clutch/flywheel install.
