Default CD powers on but no sound

One night everything was fine, now thismorning my cdplayer powers on and i can hear it through the speakers, then it plays but no sound, also the climate control doesnt work. It lights up but when you push the button the light for that area doesnt light up and the blower wont work. Any ideas?

Also check for short in speakers or speaker wires 94

I pulled the HU out and all seems fine, i cant imagine any wires would be bad cuz all the speakers dont work. and now the climate control works too. ahhhh ill have to pull it all out and see what the hell is going on. hopefully i dont have to pull the dash out again.

Well I think I fixed it. Turns out there was a pinched wire in the door on the drivers side that was exposted a bit and it must have been grounding out. They reason the climate control didnt work was because it is on the same plug as the front drivers side speakers and if i grounded out the speaker then the climate control wouldnt work. Kinda funny but all seems to be good now.
