Default Good A/F ratio for H23

I know that the only way to make power is to tune a car properly on a dyno, but just from experience, what is APPROXIMATELY the optimal A/F ratio for a H23 engine with stage 1 cams and bolt ons? Is this about the same for any engine? Any other useful info is welcome, thanks.

you should check out the "how to tune a car" section on importbuilders.com

you will see all you need there....

for NA u generally wanna sit around 13-13.5:1 at wot. but theres no magic number to set it to, just see what makes power and stick with that

Anyways, the stoichiometric A/F ratio is set at around 14.7. The ideal power is made a little bit richer than stoich. It doesn't matter what mods you have 14.7 is stoich, but in different cases of forced induction you need it richer.
