Default F22a F22b heads

My friend is turbo-ing his 95 accord lx, and said that i could have his ceramic coated headers off his car, but his is an F22b, and my 93 accord lx has an F22a. What are the differences, will they fit? anyone know? thanks

Correct, the header off a f22b1 is like this 0 00 0 where as f22a is 0 0 0 0.

If you do a head swap they will here is a great write up: http://www.accordinglydone.com...=1526

also check out these: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/sh...+swap

Also look into a h23 head with f22 block: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=20142

You may also want to check out http://www.cb7tuner.com because that is a 90-93 accord specific forum that has GREAT information. Hope that helps.

then why are the exhaust ports on a f22a like this: 0 0 0 0 and the ports on the f22b are like this: 0 00 0. NTM the bolts won't even come close to lining up; nice try smart guy.

Yea it will fit, in fact why don't you go buy a f22a header and TRY to put it on a f22b exhaust manifold.

WHO ARE YOU?

I bet you could get them to bolt on, sure. That does NOT mean the exhaust ports will be lined up. Just because it is the same BLOCK does not mean the head is the same.
