Hello there,
I'm at 41,000 miles on my 99 accord and just started getting the maintenance required light flashing when i start my car. How can i fix this?

Maint.req. light is just a reminder based on mileage since it was reset last. Every 7500 miles or whatever. Here's how to reset it for '98-+ Accords:

Key off.
Press & hold the odometer-reset button, while you turn on the key.
Continue to hold that button (don't need to start the engine).
After 20 seconds or whatever??? it'll go out.
After 7500 miles it does it all over again.

 

put key on, hold down reset button for about 15 sec and should clear lite
