Default air/fuel question?

I know that the autometer air fuel gauges are inaccurate, but if its reading rich at full throttle can the car still be leaning out even though it says its rich? I need to know to get a basic tune until i get my wideband and uberdata. Thanks in advance

I tuned my Autometer on the first green LED, was in the ballpark when I did my baseline dyno run... Then I got a wideband.
