I went in to get my alignment done the other day and they said I needed new inner tie rods and outter tie rods...I checked them when i got home and was wondering how do you know if they are bad? Also..the rack end on the passenger side is loose..im guessing that is bad? does that need to be replaced also..or does it just need to be tightened?
To check if your outer tie rods are bad jack up your car. Grab your tire and wiggle it back and forth from left to right. If is there is alot if wiggle (play) your tie rods are bad. The ball joints are most likely worn. I don't know about your other questions.
