I wanted to ask this question too, for a block build will I need anything more than just ARP assembly lube?

I forget what brand, but got it from car quest I think. Little red tube that's real sticky and sweet. Worked for me!

I've always used Lubriplate assembly grease. I've also used many different types of cam lubes for the cams, who knows what works best.

I just finished my first short block build and used Sta-Lube brand engine assembly lube. Seemed to work great for me. I got it at NAPA for like $2.50 for a 2.75oz tube.

sorry to thread jack but this is kinda similar... if my USED sc61 turbo is to sit there for a while.. do i need to put any lube/motor oil in it to prevent the seals from going bad?

ARP is moly based too I'm pretty sure, so does this mean I should only use it on bolt threads? What should I use on bearings, etc.?
