I am after a header for my B16B CTR what would be a good choice

 

If you want something off the shelf.... Toda's header would be a pretty good choice.

Do you have any other mods?

You may also want to try contacting some of the custom header makers on this board...like DTR, RMF, SMSP or perhaps Hytech......but last I heard, there is no specific 16B application or even 16A app. from any of the above companies listed....

 

^ I agree. I have seen great numbers out of the Toda on B16's. I remember awhile back Dave at SMSP recommended the Toda as a header for a kids B16. The dyno plots ive seen and Dave endorsement is enough for me.

 

I am currently building my B16b. Stock t/b and IM, but RM M22's, RM gen 2 valvetrain, Supertech flat valves - maybe reworked by Portflow.....close to 12.1 compression. I might do a little more, all tuned with Hondata. It has Spoon exhaust with a J's racing test pipe now, and I'm gonna go with the Toda. I have saw a dyno of a bone stock ITR and the Toda beat out the SMSP, so the Toda gets my vote. Plus, from what I've heard, Toda built and designed all of there products around the B16b motor......so you know it's gotta work good!
