I know i've posted a similar topic on this. However, after calling and talking to all the places people on here referenced me to about getting a fiberglass hood for a 99-00. I realized that nobody sells em for 99-00's, just 96-98's. Some of the places said something like "its a race hood, its not meant to fit perfect" which I thought was sucky.

Does anyone know where i can get a fiberglass hood that is specifically for a 99-00? If not, I guess i'll have to get a heavier, more expensive CF hood that i'm just going to paint over anyway.

 

Ah, and this includes MMRUSA to, i talked to them, they said all of their hoods come out of one mold, and he was pretty sure it was a 96-98 mold.

Why do you want a fiberglass hood instead of a CF hood?

 

because its a lot cheaper.

 

and lighter, bump anyone have/know where to get a 99-00 specific fiberglass hood?

 

i have a 00' civic and i got a fiberglass hood, ramair style if thats what ya might be lookin for. i got it from suncoast creations, im prettty sure thats where it came.

 

grrr.... I want OEM style, no ricey stuff.

 

good luck lookin for one thats stock, if your gonna spend the extra money to get a fiberglass hood than you might as well get somthing different. and if your really stuck on getting an OEM style fiberglass hood than just take your hood and make a mold out of it and fiberglass it yourself.
