exhaust cam , plugs only running only 1.2 seconds faster than my stock civic d16y8 ex! wtf! if i swap that same k engine into my car would it be safe to say id be running in the 14's? i friggen hope so , also i had a integra vtec that couldnt leave me untill we were 100+ thought i should have lost sight of a car with that much more hp! Basicly what am i going to getr if i swap a b18 or k20 in stock form into my 2 door ex?

 

It wouldn't hurt to say what year EX your civic is. But it should run low to high 14s depending on the K or B. Have you had your Civic to the track to see it runs a 16.4 or are you going by Car and Driver or something?

 

i go to the track whenever i can , even though im dealing with only 130 hp i love getting up to the line and racing! unfortionatly all the guys at the track are pretty serious so i always lose but wtf i love it! My best so far was 16.5@83mph must have donr the math wrong but that run was with a 2.506 60 ft time with bald stock tires, on another run i hit 2.475 60 ft so with more practice i should drop another 10th that was before i added my sri so who knows im sure ill be in the 13's now! lol

 

oh yea my car is a 96 2-door ex so ya know
