Default Another H22 civic axle problem. Please Help!!!

My current setup is Hasport mounts.

stock 94 lude midshaft, and the axle is a custom:
*inner joint is from 97 Lude
*axle shaft and outer joint is a 90-93 Integra (non-abs)

Over 40 mph theres a lot of vibration coming from the drivers side.

Car is also lowered a bit. Theres still a 3 finger gap. Please help!!

well I can tell you what I've been told. with the wheels on, car on the ground, take off the axle spindle nuts. push the axle into the hub with your finger as far as it goes. reach behind the wheel and pop the axle back out through the hub. repeat until you have a good measurement of how much play there is. I have been told that if you have any less than .5" or any more than 1" of play, the shaft lengths are incorrect.

When using the lude midshaft, you need to mate an H22 inner joint with an 86-89 Integra axle.

Is that just for the driver side or will I have to switch the passenger side as well?

I just searched the archives and read that someone attempted to use a 99 lude midshaft and it didnt work. Should I just switch the midshaft for a 90 Accord and keep the 90-93 teg axles?

I run the prelude mid shaft with 89 integra axles with prelude inners. No problems here.

raise the car back up, it will fix the problem, i had the same exact problem, if you don't want to raise it back up, try the 89 integra axle and prelude inner joint.

I've hear this works as well but I've been told it's not as a good a match as the other combo. (86-89 teggy axles with H22 inners)

Im going to switch out the drivers side for an 86-89 teg axle. Does the passenger side stay the same as well?

I did both sides, no binding.

Also, remember to use H22 inner joints on your 86-89 teg axles.

I run 89 teg axles on both sides with an accord midshaft and lude pass inner joint, that setup works great.

I wonder how similar the accord and prelude midshaft is? We both run the same axles with different mid shafts......

I'd like to know this as well, I was under the impression they were different.

I have both (the lude one is currently on my car), I'm doing an extensive job on my car in 3 weeks. I'll post up the results in the Hybrid section

Newman told me that the accord midshaft is female and the prelude midshaft is male. also, it seems that it is length because prelude midshaft uses prelude inner, and 89 teg outer. while accord midshaft uses 93 teg complete axle

yet Fastwanabe is running 89 teg axles with an accord half shaft......and I run the same axles with a Prelude half shaft. I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat.

skunked are you sure your running the Lude shaft? I ask because the Lude shaft is male and Accord is female. The only way to use stock teg axle with the lude shaft is to switch the driver inner joint to a lude.

skunked runs prelude inner joints with a lude midshaft. I'm not a stalker, I have just read a lot of H22 threads.
