Adjusting it is really simple. Loosen the jam nuts for the tie rod ends, lengthen or shorten the tie rods. Then tighten the jam nuts.

The important thing is measuring your toe so you know which way to make the adjustments. What kind of measurements can you get together? Tying string around your wheels? Carpenter's squares & tape measures? Make up some brackets for laser pointers?

Take it to a shop and have it aligned. If it's way out get it as straight as you can then take it to a shop. A proper alignment isn't really something you can do in your backyard with a jack and a couple of wrenches.

Yeah its a little easier to size it up on a go-kart, but I don't mess with the real thing...especially not when I'm doing 80 down the hwy!

Spend a little money on an alignment now or keep spending money on tires. Alignment is not something you can guestimate at. It has to be pretty exact. A four wheel alignment should cost around $65+/-. I understand you don't want to spend money on it but what everyone is trying to tell you is to do it right you're going to have to.
