Is there a such thing as a brake angle monitor?
I know there are throttle angle monitors that use the TPS to show how far the throttle is open. Is there an equivalent device to show how much the brakes are down? Maybe the throttle angle monitor could be hooked to something in the brake system to do that?
Not that I'm aware of. Do you mean to show pad wear? Most pads use a little metal "finger" that'll contact the rotor when the pads wear down. When you hear that squeal, you know it's time for new pads.
Or do you mean so you can tell how hard the brakes are applied? Again, not that I'm aware of. ABS systems use wheel speed sensors to tell if a wheel is locked up, but that's not an absolute measurement. It's a comparative one -- relative to the other wheels.

Yeah, I'm looking for something closer to the latter. I'd just like to see how much I've got the brakes down so I can improve my driving techniques. I've already got a throttle angle monitor.
Hmm, well I was hoping for a digital gauge to go along with my throttle angle monitor, but I think this'll do basically the same thing. Thanks!
