03 04 05 Honda Accord Projector Lights
Hello,
I have a few questions pretaining about the 2004 honda accord projector lights:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33710
1) Are these projector lights good??
2) Is it worth purchasing them from ebay for the amount of $180 to 220 or actually getting them for like $400?? ( I know that sounds crazy)
Thank you everyone who has taken the time to respond.

R_HoNda_86,
hey rhonda, please read the forum rules before posting. most guys here dont like to discuss cosmetic mods such as projector headlights. try your luck in the cosmetics/appearance forum, thanks

you don't have to be sorry, it's like his forum, it's jason and dustin's honda-tech.
you are getting the same item for 400 in the retail store or 200 in ebay shipped, it's all the samething from the same taiwanese company
they are not very good, aftermarket lens do leaks, not all but you definity gonna have a water problem after couple years.
they light pattern from the projector actually give you less "usuable" light, which in my opinion why spend the cash and time to have a shitty light pattern.

I agree. There's one thing you can do though that I would recommend:
either buy the cheap projectors or take your own headlights to a performance shop (a reliable one) and ask them to do an HID retrofit. They should be able to buy everything necessary for 400 and install it for hopefully 250 or less. You'll have OEM quality HID lighting and a great boost in output. Make sure you get the necessary bulbs in 4300-5300k to get the best lighting quality.
Basically i'm saying dont buy an HID 'kit' online, get a full projector and D2S style retrofit (from say a BMW, Mercedes, and Audi) to get the best increase in lighting performance
