Default EP3 and DC5 (base model)=same engine right?

EP3 and DC5 (base model)=same engine right? i lookin to buy either one, i can get a 04 ep3 with 17k miles for 16k or a 03 ep3 with 13k miles for 15k or a 02 dc5 base with leather with 36k miles for 16. witch one, and the have same engines as iv been told, right?

Yes, both the EP3 and DC5 base model have the K20A2. Drive both cars and then decide which one ya want.

Yes, it is the K20A3, not the A2, which is in the RSX-S. And the base RSX has about 10 or so more lbs. of torque due to a different intake manifold I've heard. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

an 04 ep3 with 17k miles for 16k? thats alot. i got my 04 ep3 for 17k new.

i'd say go for the 04 ep3

You can get an '05 for $17k flat so don't pay more than $15k for an '04.

If you lived in Minnesota, I could sell you a new 04 for about 16,500. I'm @ a Honda dealer. otherwise you should be able to pick up a new 05 for about $18...

Its actually 7 lbs, but ya you are right. Ep3 weighs about 50lbs more also.

also, dont pay that much for the EP, i bought a 04 w/ 6k miles for 14.5 in Feb

well i just bought a 04 ep3 with 16,000miles for 15,800$ with a one year warrenty on everything including brakes and clutches. i just like the ep3 styling better and u pay more for the acura luxary

the rsx has a bigger intake manifold and the cam lobes are positioned differently..or something with the cam lobes.
