Western Washinton races. any one close want to
any located in western washington want to get to gether in oly. let me know and ill cruse up there im usually up there friday and sat. nights

We used to race on the taxiways at the Olympia airport but that venue was dependent on Earl Pearson securing it for us. Venue gone, which is a shame - it was a rough, short track but the racing was always good and they had a weiner wagon guy who sold the best brats in the state...

A couple of times they ran a Pro Rally special stage during the road racers lunchtime. It would take an extra hour to get all the dirt off the asphalt. I never did hear if they made Rod Millen pay for the mulitple landing lights he drove over--at least 30 feet from the edge of track.

...and they used a really, um, interesting format where the stage start and finish actually crossed at pit-out. We only had a couple near misses at the intersection.

Second race of the ICSCC season is May 7-8 at Portland. Only a short drive south from Olympia.
