Compustar help, car will lock, but not unlock
I've had this compustar for a while, with no issues. Today I had an attempted break in, dude smashed the pass side window. I got it replaced, and now the car will arm and lock the doors, but I try to un arm it, it does, but does not unlock the doors. I have to use my key.
I tried removing the remote battery to reset it, but to no avail.
Any ideas???
Thanks!!

</TD></TR></TABLE>Are the OEM doorlocks, or were they added with the alarm? If they are OEM will the OEM switch on the door lock and unlock them? One more thing, to be clear, is it both doors that now will not unlock with the remote, or is it just the one that had the window replaced?

PS To reset, [reboot] the alarm, disconnect the neg. batt. term., wait a few min. and reconnect.

They are oem doorlocks. I don't have the power door lock switch anymore, I removed it for security reasons
I replaced only the pass. side window and they both lock fine, and neither unlocks at all.
I'll try reseting the battery.

also I would check at where the switch was on the door with the replaced window, jumpers whould have to have been installed in place of the switchs unless the doorlock motors were rewired
