Default best color choice macco paint

If i was to do a macco paint job , what color would last me the longest before it starts to fade and wear out...

I assume silver would be one of the worst and white or black might be the best choice.

please help....

some people are happy with macco jobs, some aren't.

They're all different because every macco is privately owned. find a show that's got a good reputation for doing good paint jobs and have that macco do it.

a friend of mine got his hatch sprayed at maaco 2 years ago...he chose white and it doesn't look bad even to this day, its not "show stopping" quality, but at least it doesn't look hideous, but if you do paint it there, I suggest you mask off all your weather stripping, and be careful if you got wheels or nice accesories because [B]they will get overspray all over that ****[B]

Some maaco's are good like one said that each are privately owned. You have to go to them and ask to see their work. Pay for all the body work to be done unless you know how yourself, decide either 2 stage or 1 stage 1 stage paints look good also is some cases. A paintjob is only good if the body work is good, (no waves, dings, etc...). take off as much gaskets/seals you can remove moldings, head/taillights, fenderliner, pretty much give it to them bare body and it will turn out good.

lol My friends just got there Integras painted there. Snow white too.
Paid I think $420 just for the outside. It even came with free over sprays on the exhaust too. Came out pretty good though. I wouldn't do silver. All silvers I've seen looks like the Real Maaco. Dull and Ugly. Just really depends on who and how they spray your ride.

most people who bag on maaco hasn't gotten their car painted there. they just repeat what they hear. Maaco paintjobs aren't that great because they dont do good prep work and certain places do better jobs. If you know of a "better maaco" and do your prep work, im sure the paint will last you 2 years

No and Yes, Maaco is like any other body shop you have to search for a good Maaco as they are all franchised. Just remember if you pay $500 don't expect $2000. Enamel paint is prone to cracking easily when bumping into things and it chips easily. Maaco does offer Urethane paint jobs single or dual at a higher price tag.

That's total BS. There are good and bad Maaco's. The fact that they all fall under the same corporate name has given them a rap amongst the public. As for any form of body work you should view a business other work to make your choice. Alot of people don't want to spend thousands on a paint job they just want something that will look decent and is functional. Paint is expendable, it's exposed to the elements, people, accidents, etc. I am in no way saying that spending good money on a paint job is stupid I enjoy nice paint and I don't like flaws. With a 500 dollar paint job you are paying for maybe 2hr's total in labor at most so don't expect perfection.

White will show the least amount of flaws and will probably last the longest. [b]The rule of bodywork is you are paying for labor. For a 500 dollar paint job you can be expecting to pay for minimal amount of labor 2hr's tops. So for 2hr's labor you cant expect perfection when a "good" paint job has 10hr's + put into it.

i dunno why all people rag on macco sure some have a reputation for doing shitty half assed jobs but i think they just get bad rep cuz of people just saying "DONT GO MACCO" even tho half dont have any experience with them. i got my car painted at a macco but i know the owner i've never had ne one say ne thing negative about my paintjob.
