What swap should i get? I want it usdm and legal..plz help
I have a 91 CRX si and i want to put a fast engine in it, but i also want it to be smog legal and all that. I was thinking of going ls but i cant find any in the right year(s). But im pretty much open to all suggestions, and BTW money isnt really a problem i got like 2500-3k for it and i don't have to worry about labor. Thanks in advance for ur help.

talk to some guys in a local cali forum, or search on this site for ways of passing the smog over there.
over here in Northern Virginia, we have pretty strict emissions, also. i've talked to some inspectors, and they say anything over 11:1 compression (ITR motors) wont pass emissions.
i just converted my crx to obd1 and am running a b16 motor with a USDM p61 ECU, which should also help. havent even gotten it up and running yet, but just for ***** and giggles im going to take it to my buddy to see how the emissions is on this set up. good luck.
