Default Skunk 2 vs. N1

Ok after having problems getting a Apexi WS I which is what I want I'm thinking about other exhausts as I Really don't like the look of the WS II. Well a guy 2 houses down has a Skunk 2 exhaust on his Civic and at first it sounded way too loud everytime he went up the road you not only heard it but felt and when he was a block or two away you could still hear it. Well it was way too loud but recently it seems to have gotten quieter I don't know if he just quit revving it up or he put the silencer in. It sounded like when he first got it he redlined it everytime he shifted and he doesn't do that anymore for sure. So now I'm thinking of maybe one if it sounds like what his does now. I drove behind him today leaving the nieghbor hood and didn't hear it at all so rolled my window down and still couldn't really hear it maybe a little but not much. Well he wasn't flooring it either. I want something where I can drive it at night and not wake people up and where I don't attract cops. His now seems to be quiet. I also really like the Apexi N1 so thinking of a Universal one welded up to Kteller 2.25" piping. I heard they are really loud though and I don't want that. I don't even want is as loud as the Flowmasters on my truck. I was thinking put one resognator in and maybe the silencer although it looks bad. Would this be quiet as to where it wont attract attention? Which of these two is the better way to go? Is the Skunk 2 full stainless or just the muffler? The one thing I don't like about the skunk 2 is the angle cut but then again his doesn't look like it's cut at an angle but the angle cut isn't that bad. Which of these is the way to go or should I go with something else completely?

I would DEFINITLY go for a full cat-back rather than 'custom piping' with a muffler. He prob. didnt have the silencer in on the first few days. You can tell by looking at the muffler. If the 5" opening is filled with a little round peice and has a 1 1/2 opening. Silencers are to lower the decibles of the sound to a street legal level. As long as it comes with a silencer you should be ok. I also like the Skunk2 system and was my second choice over the Tanabe Racing medallion.

Yeah I know what most exhaust systems look like with the Silencer so if it looks the same with the little hole he doesn't have it in he must just not be driving at high RPM's like he was. I really am worried about neighbors complaining of it being too loud as they dislike my Flowmasters on my truck already. He is deep in loud still but not too bad like I could hear him coming home a little while ago but it wasn't horrible and I'm thinking if I put the silencer in I should be ok. I don't like the look of the silencer but it isn't bad. Do you think with the silencer it will be loud enough to wake people up if I drive it at night? Your neighbors bedroom window as on there side of their house close to the driveway and they seem to hear everything so I just don't want to bother them. Does it still sound decent with the silencer or is it like some where they make it sound like crap? I like the N1 the most but I like the Skunk 2 also just a little unsure about the slanted cut tip compared to the straight cut I like the straight cut but the slanted one really is pretty nice looking. Anyone know what kind of Warrenty the Skunk 2 ones have? I also don't want it to be so loud that I will draw attention from cops and get a ticket for it even without the silencer.
