JDM CTR Bodykit on USDM EP3!!!!!!!!
I want to buy a jdm ctr bodykit for my ep3. They said i also need jdm front and rear bumpers and front and rear bars. Is there any way around the extra stuff? Or should I go Mugen?
I always think it looks kinda tacky running jdm ctr lips on usdm bumpers..
The best rule to live by is
usdm bumpers+hfp kit=the right way
jdm bumper with jdm ctr kit=the right way
jDm yO!
usdm bumper+ hella played out vis ctr replica lip= mos def the wrong way
and makes me want to go poopie in pants

^^^ you can get a USDM version mugen lip.
you can go without the rebar but if you get in an accident you are screwed. HFP kit has an awesome look to it. Plus you dont need to get new bumpers for it. The ctr lip is too plain in my opinion. If you do go mugen make sure you get the jdm bumper and real mugen lip, it looks 10x better then the usdm bumper and "fake" lip. Kaminari makes a pretty cool looking lip which not many people have. Good luck

See, I don't understand that? Why is HFP kit good, and ViS USDM CTR bad? Just because one is OEM and the other isn't? The HFP kit looks tacked on, in my opinion.
I like the hfp kit because it was designed specifically for the usdm bumper..whereas the jdm lip was never designed for the usdm bumper..just seems more original i guess
Well, you got me on that one. Plenty of people have had fitment problems with the ViS lip kit... I'm certain no one can say the same of the HFP kit!
Why couldn't they have simply given the US cars the same style bumpers as the JDM version? (Safety regs, I know....)? Would have made the modding process a lot more simple, heh...

it will probly runn u over 2100 but if ur car is blk ull save a little money. Be ready to spend some cash. If u got this route ull be very happy with the out come cus theres nothing better than to do i right the first time around and the fittment is oem quality
haha if you were going to spend $2000 ona hfp kit.. i would rather jsut buy jdm kit...
front and rear bumper $900
front and rear lip $700
sideskirts $500
wing $500
total $2,600
but you can buy the whole setup at Showstopersusa for $2100.. they have a whole package deal....

HFP Kit just body is about 1400.00 w/o suspension. The jdm kit also requires some bars to fit the front and rear bumper which jacks the price up ballpark its about 2700-2900 for the full jdm kit.
