Racing seats on daily drivers/track cars
Are racing seats comfy enough so you can use them for daily driving also? Im talking about seats like the recaro spg, sparco evo, bride zeta 3, omp grip, etc.
My Sparco EVO2 is comfy - in fact I find it is nicer on my back than the stock seats. The trouble comes when getting in and out of the things...
OMP = very comfy
You just need to get the angle of the back correct for your body size.
A lot of mounting brackets leave you fairly upright = uncomfy
Custom brackets sorted out everything for me.

I also have a Recaro spg, but mine is a xl. The xl was worth the extra money, so i can drink that extra beer or eat that extra peice of pizza with out worrying that I wont fit in my seat..
I spend 12 hours in the seat with out any problems. Its a pretty comfy seat..

Im about 5'5 and weigh 140 pounds. What seat do you guys recommend for me? I was thinking of the SPG since kepani also has it and hes about my height/size.

the spg would be fine for you. i'm 5'8 and weigh 170 lbs and i use a bride zeta II daily driven. the recaro spg and the zeta II are pretty similar in size. i love it and wouldn't trade it for anything =D
I dont think the JDM Recaros will give as much support as a race shell. And the JDM Recaros cost a lot anyways, so there really is no use in getting them. As far as my size goes, kepani has the SPG and he said the seat is snug on him so it should be fine on me.
