Go back to stock wires and use the supplied wire holders?

I have the wire holders from nology and they hold the wires right on top of the valve cover . Wouldn't using stock wires be a step back wards? Also my motor doesn't have the little cover that goes over the wires. Are there any aftermarket wires that would fit under that?

aren't the nology wires the ones with the ground straps attached to them?
