Default leaking accord... why why why???

my 96 accord leaks somewhere.. but i dont know where. the rear back seat gets wet when it rains. the floor doesnt get wet, nor anything else..just the passenger side rear seat.
i checked the sunroof drains, they work fine, no leaks.

the best i can figure, is the water is puddeling* somewhere.. i went to work one day and it wasnt raining..it rained while i was at work..and when i started to go home, it wasnt raining.
now, when it did start to rain, i went to my car, pulled the cushion out to make sure there wasnt any water already in the indention where your butt goes(there wasnt, dry). when i left work, there wasnt any water at all.. but when i got home,it had puddled up. the roads had already dried off btw.
where would it originally puddle up at for it to eventually end up in my seat??

its very annoying and pisses me off. help me out someone.

terrance

do you have a sunroof? I do and sometimes when it rains really really hard water would drip down off of the headliner into the back seat. fixed the drain plug and problem solved.

you might want to check your side and rear window seals along with the door seals

I have a 91 EX 2dr w/ sunroof

Use to get water in and could not find the area it was entering my car from. Removed the trim around the windows F&R and found some holes that should not be there. So I repaired those (sanding, fill w/ metal to metal, smoothed them and repainted) reinstalled trim and no more water.

All the other areas were fine, no problems with sunroof or weather strip. Was a puzzle until I removed the trim.

has the car ever been in an accident? I've seen cars with poorly repaired frame damage that would leak water inside.

But the most likely culprit is a clogged sunroof drain. Check your schematics then flush.
