Default ST rear sway+tie bar combo w/ stock lca's?

Like the title says, will the ST sway with tie bar combo work with the stock '92 lca's (no stock sway)? Thanks.

i'm pretty sure Suspension Techniques mounts in the same place as your shock and not in a separate location like 99-00 civic

Just get the LCA's and get a normal sway bar. They are cheap enough.

if you already have an exhaust make sure you ask around to see if it will fit with that bar. i've read more than once that the new bar will hit your exhaust piping, so you end up thinking you did a good thing by adding the sway, but you get that not so friendly reminder everytime you hit a bump and you hear a clunk

Thanks, I have the Apexi WS, which has pretty small piping and doesn't come out at any crazy angle. Think that should be a problem?

POE what kind of exhaust do you have? Any problems with it?

Truth. You don't need special LCAs for the ST bars.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I just wanted to make sure that the sway/tie bar combo didn't mount differently.

Is there any drilling required to install the ST rear sway?

You have to enlarge some holes in the subframe, but I didn't have to cut any completely new ones. Getting the nuts and bolts in there is a huge pain in the ***. I highly suggest having the LCA completely removed when you do so.

Any idea what size drill bit needs to be used? I'm sure the directions with the bar will say, but I'd like to have everything in order before it gets here.

BTW- Thanks, you guys have been a big help.

bar showed up today. Anyone have a pic of the holes that need to be enlarged? Or a suggestion on the best way to do it?

yes, they help cornering and high speed manuvering. i have a JDM ITR 23mm rear bar on my GSR i love it, and with 17's and omnipower full coils, I was oversteering through traffic light left turns, it was soooo fun, but i got cocky on a onramp once and swiped out. not so bad, i just messed up my rims and bent my trailing arms, i had the car running the very next day, at the expense of my wheels, and 250 for new trailing arms, install was done by yours truely. sorry for the blog/vent/treadjack. just thought i would share my experience.
