Default Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch

Hello,
I have searched the boards and have found decent amount of threads on this topic, but none of them could answer my question fully.

I will be changing my clutch soon and have opted to use the exedy stage 2 3puck cerametallic clutch. I will be running a stock h22 setup for the time being but will be turbo'ing the car soon. I do not plan on going boost crazy, I plan to only boost roughly 6psi.
Now my question is, how 'rough' is the stage 2 on the streets. I do not do any drag racing AT ALL, I plan to use this car mainly for daily driving and frequent road racing. Many have said they loved the setup after they got used to it, I just don't know how rough is rough. If it will make my daily commute a living hell, I plan on using the stage 1 organic, in which I am not sure can hold 6psi on a stock h22 motor.

Can anyone shine some light on this? Thanks in advance.

Johnny

I have that clutch and at first it was rough, but now (around 2-3 months later) it has worn itself completely in and feels almost like stock. My pedal travel to disengage the clutch is only about 1.5", but I am used to that now.

Go easy on it at first and eventually it will settle in and be very comfortable.

How is the engagement compared to the stock clutch? I've driven a clutchmaster stage 6, 6puck unsprung and the engagement was instant on and instant off, something i definately dont want to drive to work everyday in. I do want something that has a stiffer pedal effort than stock but not monsterous.

Not instant engagement, some chatter, holds plenty of power. Its sprung so its smooth enough for the street. (btw I have the stg 2 thin disk)

with any aftermarket clutch, its going to feel really wierd at first, but all you need is a while to adapt to it, then its all gravy

I am going to get this clutch for my 240SX. I was told the clutch is good up to 400hp.

Thanks for the replies. That kinda answered my question. I'mnto at all worried about if it can hold the power down, just driveability issues. But it seems like it pretty friendly in the streets, I guess I'll give it a try, thanks guys.

I have this clutch also....it takes some getting used to, but by far the best of its class, because of its sprung hub design, so its not a stock pedal feel, and doesent kill your crank
