Hey guys can anyone tell me what are the odds of an '05 grand am GT beating a '94 integra LS/vtec turbo at the track? I heard that there was such a challenge going on around here proposed by the grand am owner against the integra and there will be pink slips for the winner. The integra is making a little over 200whp and 180 wtq with 5psi, the grand am is stock but the driver is supposedly really good.

I believe that the teg will get him, but in reality this post has nothing to do with drag racing. People may not like a post like this here. Get your flame suite on this is honda-tech.

Well it is going to be a drag race, and the integra is a honda. Can you elaborate on why you think the integra will win?

sorry.. i really don't like being a dick, but its really up to the magic 8 ball. i don't even know the numbers on a 05 grand am GT, or weight, or driver skill.. or tires. its tough to tell man. i would definately suggest not racing for "pinks"

 

What they are sayning is A; this belongs in general discussion forum and B; there are too many variables. I can tell u that I have raced 2 of em(at the track) and beat both by about 3 or 4 cars, I ran 13.6 and I think he ran a 14.3 or so....

Thank you for the clarification, I forgot to state that this is an 1/8th mile track and the integra runs mid-high 9's...
