sohc vtec in 88 crx si ?
im looking to do a sohc vtec swap in my 88 crx si... which dist would i use? and also are there any plugs or nething ima have to mod the stock si harness for? thanks alot guys
If you want to keep it OBD0, then you have to use an OBD0 distributor. You will also need something to activate vtec (rpm activated switch, VAFC, vtec controller, etc.) or use an OBD0 vtec ecu like a PR3 or PW0. You will also need to add wiring for vtec. You could use your A6 distributor, but you will need to modify the mounting legs for it to work with the Z6 head (if that is the motor you are using). If you are using a Y8 motor, then the A6 distributor will fit.

Good info. Also, if you are going to use your 88 si transmission you will need to use the 88 flywheel and clutch assembly.
