are there a benefits on getting a baffle plate for the oil pan and what is the purpose of it? thanks

 

I believe it's good to use for when you are at the track...such as auto-x and drag..etc. It prolongs engine life by curing oil pressure drop during hard cornering. So if you goto the track a lot then it might be worth getting...I don't think they are that much anyway...good insurance.

 

thanks..i have an LS oil pan but from what i hear i hear the gsr has a baffle..would that work?

 

Not sure if the GSR comes stock with baffles in the pan or not. I do know Moroso makes oil pans for the Integra that have baffles...here's a link..

Here is the description from King Motorsports website.

This oil pan is fitted with baffles to prevent oil pressure drop due to oil shifting caused by centrifugal forces. The main casing has an original configuration.
