Default Thinking about buying Rsx type s 2003 or 2004

I was just looking for some feedback on Acura's because none of my friends have ever driven them and he keeps on spouting about subaru sti's and I was wondering if acura's are pretty reliable cars and such and how they rate compared to subaru's if anyone can give me some feedback that would be great.

thank you
Nick

STi MSRP: 35kish
RSX-S MSRP: 23-25k

Your talkin two different platforms with two completely different price ranges.

**** the subaru, roll with honda j/k

can't compare a type s to the Sti
try regular WRX, now we're talking..

definitely go with the sti if you can afford it
reliability wise? I've never owned a subaru but I can tell you can never go wrong with the Honda. It's a big trade off tho turbocharged AWD vs. V-tec

Subaru is a tier below Honda in the reliability dept. I've had a lot of friends (ski bums) that drove Legacy Outbacks/GTs and all of them had recurrent electrical problems and one had to have an engine replaced at ~ 70K.

On average though, subarus are pretty good - just not up with Honda according to industry studies and in my own experience.

Also, comparing an STI to an RSX is not a fair comparison due to the $10K price difference.
