395whp on stock internal gsr @ 12psi and pump gas
went to the dyno today and i am very impressed with the numbers for a bone stock gsr block. 395whp and 262 torque @ 12psi and pump gas.
setup: bone stock gsr block, b16a head w/ gsr cams, t3/t67 .82 a/r, lovefab sst manifold, 3" exhaust and downpipe, walbro 255hp pump, 880cc precision injectors, aem ems, etc., etc., etc.....
what do you guys think for a stock 200 dollar block slapped in???

thats allot of power for a stock GSR engine........good stuff but i would be worried about the reliabilitly.........
how long do you expect those pistons and rods to hold up?

oh yea...i forgot to add that i am building the eng this week. i will be sticking with stock sleeves, just upgrading rods and pistons. 81.5mm bore should do it. i am shooting for 500whp on stock sleeves next time on the dyno....
also for timing....i was at 19 degrees at 12psi boost. pretty conservative but i was pushing it pretty hard i think....lol!!!

god dam man! I'm shooting for a little more then that on a fully built motor
definately let us know when it goes, or if you rebuild it before it does...

19 degrees at 12 PSI isn't too conservative....I've seen people run 11 degrees at 15 PSI trying to do the same you were. GL and drive her hard so we can see if it'll hold up
its only a 1.8L. you cant really compare my setup to a prelude man...come on...lol!!! plus you were at 18psi. let me turn the boost up then well talk....jk!
thanks everyone for the props!!!

Looks like we are both looking for the same thing here..
