Default CTR Steering Wheel Wiring + Ghetto Rigging of CC

So since I was tired of waiting for someone to do a DIY write up for the CC install on a CTR wheel, I went to work, and rigged it up without his help. So yeah, laugh all you want, whatever, Ive got CC on my CTR steering wheel bitch! ...and yes, I know the unit is on backwards.

I labeled what each wire was. Not sure if this will serve any pupose for anyone else.

Here's the leet part about this ***-rig of a job, I dont drive with that thing dangly arround. Its removed on the streets. So I just unplug the CC controls, tuck the CC plug, and just put the velcro cover piece back on.

Hah, nice and clean...lol. Why didn't you just mount it on your dash somewhere. I mounted mine beside the switch for the fog's on my 92 DX. It is clean and looks like it's suppost to be there in the dash.

Nice work

I've always wondered what people do with their CC when the install different steering wheels...

BTW, how often do you actually use your CC? I have it but I haven't used it for a few years, at least not since I've been boosted... just wondering if it's worth the effort to do a nice install or just take it out.... I'm assuming you use yours because you went through the hassle of keeping it...

Its the JDM bandwagon, instead of having his stock steering wheel and cruise control that looks like it belongs there, he has a m@d t1t3 jdm steering wheel and ghetto rigged cruise control. M@d pr0ps @ the street races.

Yeah, he should definately stick with a crappy USDM that looks like it's found on a taurus or some pos. Honda FINALLY got with it and gave us a 3 spoke on the S2k, 10 years after every other decent sports manufacturer.

but what you have to do at first is to

because otherwise the ECU save that the SRS connection was cuted when you change the sterring wheel ->so the SRS lamp glow and only the service of honda can clear this entry in the ecu.
