Is your gas cap tight?

And the problem is found. Try getting a new gas cap and that should remove the CEL.

Code P1456 means that your vehicle is failing to contain/hold the gas vapors in the gas tank.

If your gas cap doesn't screw on tight, more than likely thats the cause of the cel.

did you reset the ecu yet? If not, disconnect the power wire from battery, turn headlights on until they die, reconnect battery. Then try and see if the cel comes back.

Don't unplug the battery, then you reset clock radio etc. Just pull the ECU fuse under the hood for about 30 seconds. Then start your car and let it idle for about 10 minutes.
