I've been hearing this noise everytime i go over any bumps in the road. Its coming from the rear passenger side. IT sounds like something is loose and everytime I go over any kind of bump it rattles against what ever its touching. I took my rear wheel off and see if i could see if anything was loose. I saw nothing. I check to see if it was the exhaust(stock) it wasn't.. I looked at the springs(eibach prokit) they seemed sturdy.Didn't look loose or anything..Anyone have any ideas what this noise could be. I only hear it when ever i go over rough roads or any bump in the road..thanks for any help.

 

this happened to me one time. at my workplace, this dude came in with a similar problem. he heard rattling from the rear DRIVER's side. it was hix rear axle.

take a look at the axle and bearings etc

 

you sure you dont have anything in the back/trunk?

 

When I hit the brakes or go down a steep hill, I hear what sounds like loose change or broken glass sliding around in that same area. I stripped out the whole **** and never found it. Good luck.

 

I check the trunk and took everything out of it and I heard the same noise..I'm going to take a look at the axel this weekend. I hope its not that..but i'll take a look.Let u all know. Thanks for all the reply's

 

Mine rattyles the same way on my integra.. but mine is the drivers side. any help would be great appreciated.

 

Check for any loose wires. My dash and rear drivers side were doing that and I just had a couple of loose wires.

 

It could be that your shocks are blown...Check them out.
